We stayed in Dec to visit the Bath Xmas markets. The accommodation is beautiful and very homely. The owner was very hospitable and went out of his way to look after us. We will definitely be returning.

Dennis. The weather was wild so we spend a lot of time indoors just
listening and watching the storm. The view is perfect. I could have sat
there much longer!! Warm and comfortable, the cottage has everything
you need.

Will and Lettie are charming and attentive (but not intrusive) hosts, who want to ensure their guests have a great stay. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break, including a well-equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds with feather duvets. We visited In October and it was warm and cozy. The artwork, books and lamps create a nice homely feel. The cottage is surrounded by countryside, is incredibly quiet and with good views; the perfect break for an escape from the city (London for me, Cardiff for my daughter). However, there is much to do locally: Bath is quite close, and the picturesque villages of Castle Combe and Lacock are within easy reach. The only downside was that we had to leave, we really didn’t want to!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage and would love to come again – the cottage was very comfortable and the location just beautiful. It’s a shame the weather wasn’t good enough for us to make more use of the lovely balcony! William the owner was everything you could have hoped for in a host – lovely warm welcome and genuine concern for the comfort of guests staying at the cottage. Our daughter was really sad to be leaving our ‘holiday house’! Thanks for everything

Cottage was beautifully presented on arrival, contained everything we required and was very comfortable. It was more spacious than it appears in the photos. My daughter loved the novelty of it being an upside down house. Highly recommend.

Quiet village location. This is a well appointed property, with everything you need for a short stay, it is perfect for a couple or small group, Will was a very generous host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

As soon as we arrived this cottage, we were made so welcome by Mr Wlliam Darby, and all rooms were perfectly presented. There was even milk and extras in the fridge, and bread tea and coffee, and all kitchen items needed for a pleasant stay.
